The keywords table
Selecting a tracked app and its Keywords shows a table for one storefront. Every column sorts.
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Keyword | The term, with its tag beneath |
| Popularity | How often it’s searched, 5–100, with a thin ultramarine bar |
| Difficulty | How hard it is to rank in the top 10, 5–100, with a thin coral bar |
| Rank | Your app’s rank, such as #14, or “Not in top 200” (the depth that was checked) |
| 7 days | How your rank moved over the last 7 days: ↑ 3, ↓ 5 or 0 |
| Updated | “Today”, “Fetching” with a spinner while a new keyword is pending, or “3 days ago” with a clock icon when the numbers are over a day old |
Popularity is always ultramarine and difficulty always coral. A pending keyword shows “–” until its numbers arrive.
Where popularity comes from
Section titled “Where popularity comes from”Popularity runs from 5 to 100. Keywordee uses Apple’s official monthly figure where Apple publishes one, otherwise Apple’s live figure. For terms Apple doesn’t score, it shows its own estimate, marked est. Google Play figures are always estimates. A dash means there’s no figure yet.
Finding keywords
Section titled “Finding keywords”- Use the tag chips above the table to filter by tag, and the search field to find a keyword.
- The filter button narrows by popularity, difficulty, rank or freshness. Reset filters clears them.
- Select a row to open the details panel with its rank history, tags and note. The panel button in the toolbar hides and shows it.
- To stop tracking a keyword, remove it from its row’s menu. It stops being tracked for this app on this Mac. Its numbers stay cached, and you can track it again any time.
